The women's ministries of Trinity Church strive to encourage, support and guide women of all ages toward spiritual maturity and joyful service by providing biblical teaching, along with special events, to enable women to become all they can be in Christ, and to promote a sense of belonging to God and to one another.

"For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do" Ephesians 2:10

Women's Sunday School Class

Sundays, 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., Classroom on the right as you enter the basement entrance.

For the Fall 2011 session, this class will be looking at the lives of women from both the Old and New Testaments from a book by Gien Karssen. Ruth Graham Bell read it and wrote, "While reading Her Name Is Woman, the women in the Bible have suddenly come alive. Because of Gien's careful research, sanctified imagination, and skill as a writer, I found myself understanding these women and their situations in a new way.” You too will find that each woman we discuss will step off the pages of your Bible to become a real person, living and sparkling. Each Sunday will be a different woman so come as often as you can. Led by Jane Duprey, Jen Murphy, Barbara Weatherbee and Mary White. Contact: Mary White 978-263-4191

Women in the Word Friday Morning Bible Study

Fridays, 9:15 - 11:15 a.m., Fellowship Hall

Our Friday morning study will run from September 16, 2011 through May 2012. The fall will be a study on a book titled, “Eat This Book” by Peterson which deals with how we read the Bible. This is for all women who are free on Friday mornings, no matter how much you do, or do not know of the Bible, as we search together for a better understanding of how God makes himself known to people. Coffee and childcare provided. For more information please call Mary White at 978-263-4191.

Monday Evening Bible Study

Mondays, 7:30 - 8:45 p.m., Church Library
This group begins Monday, September 19, 2010 at 7:30. We learn from each other, study, laugh, and pray together. Marty Coleman (508-485-1939) and Mary Ann Roy (978-486-8206) are co-leaders again this year.

Mom to Mom

Wednesdays, 9:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m., Fellowship Hall

The mission of Mom to Mom is to educate, encourage and equip caregivers for the most important yet toughest job in the entire world - parenting. Come anytime and be blessed!

The sessions include lectures from guest speakers and from videos on topics related to health, parenting, marriage, and more. Each lecture is followed by supportive interaction in small groups. We aim to foster growth in women intellectually, relationally, and spiritually. Mom to Mom welcomes all women from the area and also dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends. Tell a friend or bring a friend.

Our sessions begin with refreshments and coffee. Wonderful babysitting is also provided.

Women's Saturday Breakfasts

February 4, 2012
9:00am - 10:30 am.
Join us for an informal gathering around the breakfast table followed by a personal testimony from a sister in Christ and ending with prayer. Contact: Marty Coleman 978-485-1939

JOY Group

Tuesdays, the third of each month, 1:30, Pat Cooper's House
JOY GROUP is a really special group of "grandmother age" gals....or as we say: those "J"ust "O"ver "Y"outh! Once a month we gather to work on various projects, hear from our missionaries, enjoy fellowship, pray and read God's Word together, and of course savor tea and goodies. We're busy little bees....looking for more friends to join us. We'd love new gals to come along and join us with fresh ideas, and more love to pass around. Just call Pat at 978-456-3710 if you have any questions.

MENTORING PROGRAM and APPLES OF GOLD

Do you feel you could benefit from spending time with someone who has grown closer to God by facing some of life's many challenges? If you do, the mentoring committee would like you do know that there are "mature" women here at Trinity who have a desire to minister to you. Both of these ministries offer counsel, friendship, and advice to women seeking help or encouragement in their spiritual walk.

The one-on-one Mentoring Ministry matches an older, more experienced woman with one of lesser age or experience. Each mentoring relationship is as unique as the two women involved. The time, location, and topics to be covered are up to you and you can trust the details are confidential! If you feel a mentoring relationship would be helpful to you, contact Sharon Houseman (978-365-4490).

The Apples of Gold ministry is a six-week group approach beginning in the spring. It is held in a home where younger women are guided in discussions of living the Christian walk within our families, and learning skills to be used in the home setting, like cooking, home decorating, flower arranging, etc. For information, contact: Pat Cooper 978-456-3710

Spring Break

An opportunity for women to “get away” for a time of spiritual growth and developing friendships. This program has an invited speaker and is usually a one-day retreat, an overnight retreat, or an elegant High Tea. These are wonderful times to get to know other women of the church on a deeper level and draw closer to the Lord. Contact: Mary White 978-263-4191

Christmas Brunch

Friday December 2, 2011, 9:15-11:15 AM

This is an annual event where we come together to celebrate the wonders of Christmas. As always, there will be special music. It is a potluck with babysitting provided. Contact: Mary White 978-263-4191
