The women's ministries of Trinity Church strive to encourage, support and guide women of all ages toward spiritual maturity and joyful service by providing biblical teaching, along with special events, to enable women to become all they can be in Christ, and to promote a sense of belonging to God and to one another.

"For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do" Ephesians 2:10

Women's Sunday School Class

Sundays, 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., Nursery Area

Women’s class: Tracing the Origins of Grace
18 weeks/Teacher: Mary White/Location: Enclosed nursery area
Last spring the women’s class very briefly glanced at “the red thread” that runs through scripture from Genesis to Revelation. We will now go back and look in depth at the great events and passages of the Bible to ask “what did they mean then and what do they mean now?” The goal is to slot all our bits and pieces of accumulated Bible knowledge into the big picture and get beyond simply stories and text recognition. Come with what you do, or don’t know about scripture. We will consider how God deals with individuals, nations and the human race with profound purpose and overwhelming grace. We will discuss what this grace and purpose currently means for us in 2008 as we live in light of past events. In the New Testament we will see the culmination of Old Testament grace personified in Christ.

This is not a word study of grace, but rather putting flesh on the gracious working of the purposeful God as revealed in the events and passages of scripture, though Bible study and discussion.

Women in the Word Friday Morning Bible Study

Fridays, 9:15 - 11:00 a.m., Fellowship Hall
Our Friday morning study resumes on September 14th, 2007. The fall session is in 2nd Corinthians. The guidebook that we are using shows the contrast between the way that Paul looked at weaknesses, hardships, and obstacles, and the way that we too often do. He thanked God for new opportunities to experience His power. Do you want to know the Lord in a more personal way? He may turn some of your values upside down but we guarantee that He will encourage you and teach you to rely on His grace in a new way. It looks good, Ladies, and we hope that you can fit us into your schedule. Fantastic childcare is provided. For more information please call Barbara Wheeler at 978-779-6425, Barbara Weatherbee at 978-779-6476 or Jenny Hertel at 978-534-0670

Monday Evening Bible Study

Mondays, 7:30 - 8:45 p.m., Church Library
We will be starting up for the 2007 season on Monday, September 17th at 7:30. We learn from each other, study, laugh, and pray together. Marty Coleman (508-485-1939) and Mary Ann Roy (978-486-8206) will be co-leaders again this year. This fall we will be studying "David, Developing a Heart for God" Life Guide Bible Study by Jack Kuhatschek. All women welcome!

Mom to Mom

Wednesdays, 9:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m., Fellowship Hall
The mission of Mom to Mom is to educate, encourage and equip caregivers for the most important yet toughest job in the entire world - parenting. Our fall session for 2007 has already started and it's never too late to come and be blessed!

The sessions include different experts from social work, counseling, education, and related fields who share Biblical teaching on parenting, marriage and self-worth, followed by supportive interaction in small groups. We aim to foster growth in women intellectually, relationally, and spiritually. Mom to Mom welcomes all Trinity and non-Trinity members-moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends. Tell a friend or bring a friend.

Our sessions begin with a continental breakfast and babysitting is provided.

Women's Saturday Breakfasts

January 26th in the Fellowship Hall
Join us for an informal gathering around the breakfast table followed by a personal testimony from a sister in Christ and ending with prayer.

JOY Group

Tuesdays, the third of each month, 1:30, Pat Cooper's House
JOY GROUP is a really special group of "grandmother age" gals....or as we say: those "J"ust "O"ver "Y"outh! Once a month we gather to work on various projects, hear from our missionaries, enjoy fellowship, pray and read God's Word together, and of course savor tea and goodies. We're busy little bees....looking for more friends to join us. We'd love new gals to come along and join us with fresh ideas, and more love to pass around. Just call Pat at 978-456-3710 if you have any questions.

MENTORING PROGRAM and APPLES OF GOLD

Do you feel you could benefit from spending time with someone who has grown closer to God by facing some of life's many challenges? If you do, the mentoring committee would like you do know that there are "mature" women here at Trinity who have a desire to minister to you. Both of these ministries offer counsel, friendship, and advice to women seeking help or encouragement in their spiritual walk.

The one-on-one Mentoring Ministry matches an older, more experienced woman with one of lesser age or experience. Each mentoring relationship is as unique as the two women involved. The time, location, and topics to be covered are up to you and you can trust the details are confidential! If you feel a mentoring relationship would be helpful to you, contact Sharon Houseman (978-365-4490) or Shelley Courtney (978-779-8318).

The Apples of Gold ministry is a six-week group approach beginning in the spring. It is held in a home where younger women are guided in discussions of living the Christian walk within our families, and learning skills to be used in the home setting, like cooking, home decorating, flower arranging, etc. For information, contact: Pat Cooper 978-456-3710

Newcomers Gathering

(In honor of newcomers)
Freedom Farm in Bolton
An evening to especially welcome and get to know women who are somewhat new to our fellowship at Trinity. We invite old-timers and newcomers alike to come and enjoy a wonderful time of fellowship. Delicious desserts will be served along with tea and coffee. For more information, contact: Barbara Weatherbee 978-779-6476

Ladies' Retreats

Christmas Brunch

This is an annual event where we come together to celebrate the wonders of Christmas. As always, there will be special music. It is a potluck with babysitting provided.

Hearthside Gathering

Trinity Church Fireplace (Foyer)
Held in February, close to Valentine's day, we pack cookies for our college-age young adults. A tempting desert, warm drinks, glowing candles, and a crackling fire in the foyer fireplace set the stage for a cozy evening together.

Boredom Busters (A Summer Playgroup)

Boredom Busters, a playgroup for young children (primarily ages 5 and under) and their caregivers, meets weekly on Wednesday mornings 10:00 - 11:30 AM. It's free, fun and close to home! Snack is provided. Come once, twice, or every time and bring a friend.
