SCRIPTURE MEMORY
PROGRAM
The Christian Education Committee is pleased to introduce the start of Trinity's Scripture Memorization Program for the '07-08 Sunday School year. It is our desire at Trinity for our youth to: be equipped with the Word for life; be obedient to Christ; learn, grow in, and share the Good News; and be able to stand up against this secular culture that surrounds and bombards us with deceptions, temptations, and untruths. We trust that parents will encourage their students to participate for the right reasons and perhaps take the opportunity to do a little brushing up themselves.
Program Schedule:
Fall 2007 You may begin memorizing. (Use a standard translation.)
December 2007 You will find out who your proctor is and how to contact him/her .
January 2008 You may begin reciting to your proctor. (Only complete sets can be recited to your proctor.)

How it Works:
For Kindgarteners the award will be a special treat.
For Grades 1-2 the rewards are:
For memorizing and reciting your current grade set- $25
For reciting all previously awarded prior grade sets - $25
For reciting any prior grade sets not previously awarded - $25
Grade 5 and older:
For reciting all verses from student's current grade set down to Grade 1 - $100
High School Students:
There are Life Verse Sets that will be distributed and explained in your Sunday School class as another way to get bonus points.
Please Note: $100 is the maximum that can be awarded each year at any grade level.
